Cygnet Hospital Sheffield:

Cygnet Hospital Sheffield offers a low secure service for women and CAMHS services for male and female adolescents over three distinct wards.

Pegasus Ward:

Pegasus Ward is a 13 bed general adolescent acute service, providing support for young people, both male and female, and is focused on helping them return home. The service is dedicated to helping young people maintain their school placements, if possible, and admissions can be either formal or informal.

You will ensure the systematic provision of a high quality psychological service to Cygnet's services and work autonomously within professional guidelines while exercising responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice within the service/team. 

A major requirement of the job is to act as a highly specialist resource to the wider professional community and to carry out audit, policy and service development and research activities and/or programs.  To propose and implement policy and service development changes within Cygnet as served by the team/service.

Cygnet Hospital Sheffield is a purpose-built, therapeutic environment close to the city centre of Sheffield with a focus on supporting individuals to move along their care pathway towards independent living. Everyone has access to a range of social, therapeutic and activity spaces including classrooms, artrooms and gyms, teaching kitchens and gardens. It is a spacious and vibrant service providing positive and effective care with close links to local colleges and employers.
