We are looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or Learning Disability Nurse (RNLD) with a passion for delivering the best quality of care
Cygnet Fountains is a high dependency inpatient rehabilitation service for men who have severe and enduring mental illness and who may have been detained under the Mental Health Act. The individuals we support come to us following multiple placement breakdowns, failed treatment programmes or stepping down from secure settings.
At Cygnet Fountains we have a number of different options to help support individuals to move on. We have 5 self-contained flats within the service to enable service users to build their individual skills before discharge while still having the full support of the multi-disciplinary team. We also provide a service just 2 miles away from Cygnet Fountains called Vincent Court. This five bed community rehabilitation service is for the men who have been able to progress through the hospital pathway who are working towards independent living.
Your Day-to-Day…
- Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations
- Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality
- Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge and promote nursing
- Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete & maintained collectively with residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals
- Administer prescribed medicines with Healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines

You will have…
Essential:
- Experience as a Registered Nurse Mental Health Nurse / RMN or Learning Disability / RNLD with a current Pin Number
- The ability to maintain documentation, undertake audits and demonstrate integrity in your role
- A good understanding of the Mental Health Act 1983 and latest nursing practices
- A commitment to patient recovery in order to effectively monitor, manage and reduce risk
- Compassion, resilience and a dedication to empower and support service user independence
