We are looking for a confident Care & Support Worker with a passion for delivering outstanding care.
You’ll be working 38.5 hours a week, covering days, nights, weekends and bank holidays with shift patterns of either 7:30am - 8pm and 7:30pm - 8am, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Hospital Ealing, on New Dawn Ward.
Cygnet Hospital Ealing provides a welcoming, non-institutional environment, offering personalised treatment for service users with an eating disorder or personality disorder over two separate wards.
You will be working on New Dawn Ward which is a 9 bed specialist Tier 4 service, providing treatment, care and support for women with a personality disorder who are ready to engage in therapy.
Our service can support women who have a diagnosis of personality disorder and who need either:
- A short-term crisis intervention utilising a Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) model (i.e. emergency referrals);
- A longer-term therapeutic treatment programme utilising the principles of DBT with skills coaching and individual therapy;
As an active member of our dynamic team, you’ll provide support for our nursing staff including the admission, assessment, implementation and discharge of inpatients, with a focus on dignity and safety at all times.
