A Full-Time Recovery College Lead is required within our new state of the art hospital at Maidstone. 

The role of the Recovery College lead is to provide leadership for the Recovery College in line with the principles of the Recovery College.  The lead should strive to develop a culture of co-production at the Recovery College, raising awareness and promoting the Recovery College and co-production amongst clinical teams and service users. 

The Recovery College lead should have experience of working in a teaching environment, and be prepared to work with individuals with mental health needs.  The position will require the right individual who will dedicate their energy into a process of engaging and inspiring patients to explore their individual learning needs.

Although the Recovery College lead has responsibility it is essential that they develop a team of individuals to help the Recovery College grow and flourish.

There are many potential roles to be played by both staff and service users, some of which include;

Tutors/personal tutors or assistants
Recovery College peer leads
Peer tutors
Administrators

The Recovery College is working towards having accreditation status for an awarding qualifications, so the successful candidate will be responsible for working towards this goal.

Full – Time, 5 Days per week.
