We are looking for a confident Preceptorship Nurse - Rmn / Rnld with a passion for delivering outstanding care.

You’ll be working 38.5 hours a week, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Hospital Harrogate

Cygnet Hospital Harrogate is a long-established mental health hospital that provides an emergency admissions service across two acute wards.

Service users have a named nurse and are reviewed by a consultant psychiatrist up to three times a week. Medical cover is provided round the clock. Referrals and admissions can be received at any time of the day or night by arrangement with the consultant psychiatrist and medical staff on call.

Your day-to-day…

  • Support both management and team members in the day-to-day running of the service
  • Ensure duties are allocated effectively and safely
  • Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
  • Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
  • Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
  • Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
