Are you a confident Occupational Therapist or Speech and Language Therapist who would like to develop your leadership and management skills to be a Clinical Team Leader?
We are looking for a confident Clinical Team Leader (HCPC registered) who can inspire, support and oversee the delivery of a clinical service to five specialist residential care homes for adults with autism and who may present with behaviours that challenge. We aim to provide a safe, comfortable and effective care environment for those in our care.
Post: Clinical Team Leader
Salary: Up to £39,000 - £43,489
Base: Broughton House, Brant Broughton, LN5 0SL
Responsible for: The provision of leadership to and management of the clinical team which consists of Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy and Nursing, taking overall responsibility for the quality and consistency of service delivery.
Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Plan: The role will focus 60% of your time on leadership and management and 40% of your time to a dedicated and fixed caseload / team projects.
Reporting to: Line management supervision from the Registered Manager at Broughton House and professional / clinical supervision from the Support and Engagement Director for Social Care.

Your role will include:
- Oversight and line management of the clinical team, including leadership, coaching and mentoring in close collaboration with clinical supervisors.
- A working understanding of the clinical care pathway, discipline contribution and responsibilities, to guide and direct clinical provision within all homes.
- Responsibility for ensuring adequate and appropriate clinical team attendance at routine and regular care, clinical and governance meetings.
- Promote and maintain excellent communication channels between care and clinical team, addressing and escalating any concerns in line with policy and protocol.
- Ensuring compliance with clinical and care governance and timely escalation of needs.
- Demonstrating excellence through clinical audit, clinical practice development & quality improvement.
- Attend all training and engage in CPD to further own knowledge
The successful candidate should be or have…
- A registered Occupational Therapist or Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council)
- Advanced understanding of process / interventions relevant to professional registration and keen to expand knowledge to other disciplines.
- Committed to community based care in order to effectively monitor, manage and meet demand.
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Passionate about supporting and helping others
- Strong leadership and management skills
