We are currently looking for a finance assistant to join our team at Cygnet Alders Clinic.

Cygnet Alders Clinic is a 20 bed rehabilitation service providing assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for women with personality disorder and complex needs.

At Cygnet Alders Clinic we provide a specialist psychologically informed personality disorder pathway across three living areas; Severn, for assessment and stabilisation; Avon, where service users move as they engage and progress with their treatment pathway; and Coln, which focuses on transitioning to the community.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for the collection, collation and dissemination of vital information as required by the Group Accounts Department.

To review and manage e-census, patient funding, purchase ledger invoices, petty cash and monthly payroll for permanent and bank staff.

To comply with Cygnet Financial Strategy, Policy and Procedure.

E-Census

  • Daily checking of the e-census and ensuring that all areas in need
  • of authorisation have been picked up.   
  • Using the E-Census to complete the HPPD spreadsheet on a daily basis.

Patient Funding

  • Ensure all patients’ have the appropriate inpatient funding and obtaining pre authorisation where necessary.
  • Liaising with funders regarding continuations and additional funding.
  • Communicating and collating completed funding forms.

Sales Ledger

  • Ensure correct invoicing of patients’ on a weekly basis/monthly basis.
  • Banking and allocation of all cash received.
  • Dealing promptly with patients’ queries.
  • Production of MPA report (monthly patient analysis).
  • Production of monthly cash receipts journal.
