We are looking for a confident Clinical Manager who can inspire, support and oversee the delivery of the very best care.
You’ll be working full time hours each week at Cygnet Brunel.. This service offers an extensive Neuropsychiatric treatment, care and rehabilitation pathway which is unique in its ability to provide a dedicated pathway to meet the complex needs of service users within their care.

Your day-to-day…
- Take lead responsibility in undertaking regular care audits
- Provide clinical leadership, coaching & mentoring for the development of services
- Overall financial management - managing budgets over £500,000
- Day to day responsibility for managing budgets – from staffing through to operational matters
- Training development and delivery of programme.
- Recruitment and retention of staff.
- Disciplinary and associated processes eg grievances
- Interdisciplinary/integrated working
- Problem solving
- Maintain excellence through clinical practice development & quality improvement
- Be responsible for a planned programme of support across your area of focus as determined by the annual plan for Quality and Compliance
- Be an active member of clinical working committees relevant to role
- Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge & promote nursing
- Under NMC guidelines, ensure that individual care plans are complete & maintained
- Administer medicines within healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines

You are:
- Are an experienced RMN/RNLD with a valid pin number and at least 2 years’ nursing experience
- Are currently working as a Clinical Manager or Ward Manager or have significant experience in a Senior Nursing role
- Have strong leadership & clinical skills, as well as compliance & regulatory knowledge
- Are an excellent relationship manager – with internal & external stakeholders
- Have experience in an acute, rehabilitation, mental health or forensic psychiatry setting
- Have evidence of functioning in a supervisory role as a clinician in a similar setting within a multi-disciplinary team.
